About Camille

Youlou Arts Foundation - - Youlou Arts Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines ( SVG). Youlou Arts Foundation was founded in 1999 by Camille Saunders Musser, an artist and resident of SVG.

Who does she think she is? - - Camille, her paintings and her work with Youlou Arts Foundation have been featured in a documentary called Who does she think she is?, a feature length documentary exploring the lives of five women artists who are also mothers. In the film, each of the women sustains the competing claims on her heart despite financial hardship, institutional disinterest and lack of support. Historically, women have not been able to mother and make art - neither pay. So, how do these women do it? And who should it matter to us? Who does she think she is? tells the story of ordinary women who pursue their calling - at a price - but for whom art has the power to transform their lives, and perhaps ours into a deeper experience of living.

Turtle Studios - - a democratically-run artist cooperative located in Watertown, Massachusetts that offers artmaking workshops, artist evenings, art shows and other events open to the public. All of our activities are geared towards providing a place where people of all traditions, cultures, ages, economic means, with and without prior art experience, can make their own art.
